The work Untitled (Paint Tube) by Manoucher Yektai was worth GBP 38,100.00 (€ 44,821.02) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Manoucher Yektai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life in May this year with an auction result of GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
