Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Untitled (Abstract) by Manoucher Yektai. It changed hands for a price of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 48,969.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manoucher Yektai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life, which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract) von Manoucher Yektai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 48.969,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Manoucher Yektai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 165.500,00 (€ 192.560,35) versteigert wurde.
