Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life With Pineapple by Manoucher Yektai was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 52,750.00 (€ 61,467.46). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manoucher Yektai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life, which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 165,500.00 (€ 192,560.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Pineapple von Manoucher Yektai wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 52.750,00 (€ 61.467,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Manoucher Yektai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 165.500,00 (€ 192.560,35) versteigert wurde.
