The work Diálogo de damas by Manolo Valdés was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,917.60), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manolo Valdés achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Infanta Margarita in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Diálogo de damas von Manolo Valdés wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.917,60) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manolo Valdés erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Infanta Margarita im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 538.602,24).
