Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Manolo Millares achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in June 2018. In the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for EUR 42,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manolo Millares achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Composition) Painting no. 4 in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 842,500.00 (€ 1,011,274.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Manolo Millares erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 42.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manolo Millares erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Composition) Painting no. 4 im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 842.500,00 (€ 1.011.274,93).
