Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Cypress Trees by Manolis Calliyannis. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,579.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Manolis Calliyannis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Greek La Lumiere De La Mer (The Light Of The Sea) was auctioned for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).

Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Cypress Trees von Manolis Calliyannis zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.579,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Manolis Calliyannis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Greek La Lumiere De La Mer (The Light Of The Sea) für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.748,59) versteigert.
