The result of CAD 6,000.00 (€ 4,001.81) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manly Edward MacDonald - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Mill Stream; A Glimpse Of The Water Through The Trees, which sold at auction in November 2012 for CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,822.95).
