Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2008 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Australian Maryvale Pulp Paper Plant by Mandy Martin. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 6,600.00 (€ 3,403.47). Other works by Mandy Martin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 10,575.00 (€ 5,853.73) in May 2003 for the work Brown Coal to Oil Site.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Maryvale Pulp Paper Plant von Mandy Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 6.600,00 (€ 3.403,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mandy Martin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 10.575,00 (€ 5.853,73) im Mai 2003 für die Arbeit Brown Coal to Oil Site beobachtet.
