A top price for Malcolm Morley
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work SS Amsterdam in Front of Rotterdam by Malcolm Morley. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,202,500.00 (€ 1,695,509.91), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes SS Amsterdam in Front of Rotterdam the most expensive artwork by Malcolm Morley that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit SS Amsterdam in Front of Rotterdam von Malcolm Morley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.202.500,00 (€ 1.695.509,91) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
