Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hillside Landscape by Malcolm Drummond was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in June 2000. The price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 558.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Malcolm Drummond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Sewing On A Couch in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,645.54).
