Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Scull" by Makode Linde was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 3,500.00 (€ 373.43). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Makode Linde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Mix 6", which sold at auction in May 2015 for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,066.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Scull" von Makode Linde im Mai 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 3.500,00 (€ 373,43) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Makode Linde mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Mix 6" beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.066,95) versteigert wurde.
