Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Esdras And The Angel On Mount Sion by Maerten de Vos was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,772.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maerten de Vos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Gathering of Manna in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 100,150.00 (€ 159,743.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Esdras And The Angel On Mount Sion von Maerten de Vos wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.772,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maerten de Vos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Gathering of Manna im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.150,00 (€ 159.743,13).
