In October 2021 Christies held the auction Made In Holland, which included the work A ham on a pewter plate, a partly-peeled lemon, a roemer, a beer flute, a wine glass, a bread roll, a silver engraved cup and a knife on a pewter plate on a partly-draped table by Maerten Boelema de Stomme. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 43,750.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maerten Boelema de Stomme - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With A Ham, A Glass And A Nautilus Cup On A Table Draped With A White Cloth, which sold at auction in July 2013 for GBP 92,500.00 (€ 105,697.37).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Made In Holland durch, in der auch die Arbeit A ham on a pewter plate, a partly-peeled lemon, a roemer, a beer flute, a wine glass, a bread roll, a silver engraved cup and a knife on a pewter plate on a partly-draped table von Maerten Boelema de Stomme zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 43.750,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Maerten Boelema de Stomme mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With A Ham, A Glass And A Nautilus Cup On A Table Draped With A White Cloth beobachtet, die im Juli 2013 für GBP 92.500,00 (€ 105.697,37) versteigert wurde.
