A top price for Ma Pai-Sui
This artwork by Ma Pai-Sui achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Modern Asian Art auction, the work Sailing sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,767.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. This high result makes Sailing the most expensive artwork by Ma Pai-Sui that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ma Pai-Sui erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Sailing für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.767,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00.
