THE SZE YUAN TANG COLLECTION OF CHINESE PAINTINGS 「思源堂」珍藏中國書畫 LOTS 356-360 思源堂主人何安達自上世紀六十年代初開始在香港生活，因鍾愛中國藝術，舉凡書畫、玉器、青銅、陶瓷等皆悉心蒐集，近半世紀而不倦，漸成大觀。本輯撿其珍藏馬駿作品五件，題材不一，品相完好，且均直接得自藝術家，以饗仝好。

This artwork by Ma Jun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Chinese Paintingsonline only auction, the work Idling Monks sold for HKD 21,675.00 (€ 2,467.25) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ma Jun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summer, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 92,000.00 (€ 8,556.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ma Jun erzielte im April 2019 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintingsonline only wurde die Arbeit Idling Monks für HKD 21.675,00 (€ 2.467,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ma Jun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Summer beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 92.000,00 (€ 8.556,60) versteigert wurde.
