The work Flexible Movement by M. Irfan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,866.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by M. Irfan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jangan Pernah Lupakan Sejarah (Never Forget the History) in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 77,088.32).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Flexible Movement von M. Irfan kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.866,84) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von M. Irfan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jangan Pernah Lupakan Sejarah (Never Forget the History) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 77.088,32).
