Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dc-3 by M. Irfan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 20,590.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 140,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by M. Irfan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jangan Pernah Lupakan Sejarah (Never Forget the History), which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 740,000.00 (€ 77,088.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dc-3 von M. Irfan kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 20.590,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 140.000,00 – 220.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von M. Irfan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jangan Pernah Lupakan Sejarah (Never Forget the History) beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 740.000,00 (€ 77.088,32) versteigert wurde.
