Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by LY achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in March last year. In the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction, the work I'm Luv sold for HKD 214,200.00 (€ 24,658.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by LY; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot LUV’S DECK WAS STOLEN sold at auction in July last year with the realized price of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 29,872.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von LY erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit I'm Luv für HKD 214.200,00 (€ 24.658,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von LY; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit LUV’S DECK WAS STOLEN im Juli letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 29.872,20).
