A top price for LY - as previously expected
The work LUV’S DECK WAS STOLEN by LY was sold in the Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 29,872.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, LUV’S DECK WAS STOLEN is the most expensive artwork by LY that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit LUV’S DECK WAS STOLEN von LY wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 29.872,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
