Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waiting by Luo Zhongli was auctioned at POLY in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 20,083.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Zhongli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Silkworms in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 49,400,000.00 (€ 4,683,668.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waiting von Luo Zhongli kam im März 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 20.083,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhongli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Silkworms im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.400.000,00 (€ 4.683.668,97).
