Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 POLY held the auction Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions, which included the work Sunset by Luo Zhongli. The price achieved of HKD 2,360,000.00 (€ 248,928.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Zhongli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Silkworms in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 49,400,000.00 (€ 4,683,668.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte POLY die Auktion Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunset von Luo Zhongli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.360.000,00 (€ 248.928,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhongli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Silkworms im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.400.000,00 (€ 4.683.668,97).
