The work Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu by Luo Zhenyu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 138,600.00 (€ 15,417.33), 54% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luo Zhenyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,760.29).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Xingshu von Luo Zhenyu wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 15.417,33) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhenyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.760,29) versteigert wurde.
