This artwork by Luo Zhenyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in April 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction, the work Calligraphic Couplets sold for HKD 112,100.00 (€ 12,760.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luo Zhenyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,760.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luo Zhenyu erzielte im April 2019 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I wurde die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplets für HKD 112.100,00 (€ 12.760,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Zhenyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.760,29).
