It achieved a price of HKD 16,380.00 (€ 1,885.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Shuzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).

Die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Running Script / Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Clerical Script von Luo Shuzhong kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 16.380,00 (€ 1.885,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Shuzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
