Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couplet In Clerical Script by Luo Shuzhong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 6,151.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Shuzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Couplet In Clerical Script von Luo Shuzhong wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 6.151,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Shuzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
