Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphic Couplet In Running Script by Luo Shuzhong was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. The price achieved of HKD 16,250.00 (€ 1,732.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Shuzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet In Running Script von Luo Shuzhong wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 16.250,00 (€ 1.732,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Shuzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
