Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Namo Amitabha by Luo Shuzhong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 52,920.00 (€ 6,398.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Shuzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Namo Amitabha von Luo Shuzhong kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 52.920,00 (€ 6.398,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Shuzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
