Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Luo Shuzhong. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 3,986.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Shuzhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Luo Shuzhong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 3.986,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Shuzhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
