Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Sleeping by Luo Fahui for HKD 25,200.00 (€ 3,046.86). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Luo Fahui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Set Of Three) in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 235,500.00 (€ 20,997.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sleeping von Luo Fahui für HKD 25.200,00 (€ 3.046,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Fahui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Set Of Three) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 235.500,00 (€ 20.997,72).
