Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rose No. 5 by Luo Fahui was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,434.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luo Fahui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Set Of Three) , which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 235,500.00 (€ 20,997.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rose No. 5 von Luo Fahui wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.434,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Luo Fahui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Set Of Three) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 235.500,00 (€ 20.997,72) versteigert wurde.
