In March 2019 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Starting Point of Dunhuang by Luo Erchun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 283,200.00 (€ 32,133.67), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Erchun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visiting in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,310,000.00 (€ 602,506.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Starting Point of Dunhuang von Luo Erchun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 283.200,00 (€ 32.133,67) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Erchun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Visiting im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.310.000,00 (€ 602.506,23).
