The work Boats at Anchor; & A Corner of the Town by Luo Erchun was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in October 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 377,600.00 (€ 43,159.12), 57% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Erchun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visiting in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,310,000.00 (€ 602,506.23).

Die Arbeit Boats at Anchor; & A Corner of the Town von Luo Erchun wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 43.159,12) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Erchun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Visiting im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.310.000,00 (€ 602.506,23).
