Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Trama Vertical by Luis Guevara Moreno for USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,355.19). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Luis Guevara Moreno have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2015 by the work Primer Coplanal at USD 87,500.00 (€ 79,588.87).
