Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Luis Caballero was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2010. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,150.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luis Caballero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,095.43).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.150,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Luis Caballero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.095,43) versteigert wurde.
