This artwork by Luigi Steffani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June last year. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Marina con pescatori sold for EUR 2,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Steffani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The house of General Garibaldi at Caprera in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,705.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Steffani erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Marina con pescatori für EUR 2.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Steffani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The house of General Garibaldi at Caprera im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.705,11).
