Sold at the lower estimate price
The work L'incendio sul Corso (Nebbia sul Corso) by Luigi Steffani was sold in the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in November 2016. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Steffani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The house of General Garibaldi at Caprera in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,705.11).

Die Arbeit L'incendio sul Corso (Nebbia sul Corso) von Luigi Steffani wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luigi Steffani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The house of General Garibaldi at Caprera im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.705,11).
