This artwork by Luigi Ghirri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Lempertz in Cologne in June last year. In the Photographie auction, the work Ljubljana sold for EUR 5,544.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luigi Ghirri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atelier Morandi', 1992 in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 51,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 85 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Ghirri erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Lempertz in Köln einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographie wurde die Arbeit Ljubljana für EUR 5.544,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Ghirri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atelier Morandi', 1992 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.900,00.
