Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work The Finding of Moses by Luigi Garzi for GBP 7,990.00 (€ 12,714.61). This price was achieved in the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Luigi Garzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diana and Callisto in April 2001 with an auction result of GBP 32,900.00 (€ 53,038.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Finding of Moses von Luigi Garzi für GBP 7.990,00 (€ 12.714,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luigi Garzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diana and Callisto im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.900,00 (€ 53.038,92).
