The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,503.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luigi Ademollo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ten Scenes After The Antique With Trompe L'Oeil Bas-Relief Friezes in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 59,260.90).
