Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art, which included the work Scenes From Roman History by Luigi Ademollo. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,886.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Ademollo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ten Scenes After The Antique With Trompe L'Oeil Bas-Relief Friezes, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 80,500.00 (€ 59,260.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scenes From Roman History von Luigi Ademollo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.886,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Ademollo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ten Scenes After The Antique With Trompe L'Oeil Bas-Relief Friezes beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für USD 80.500,00 (€ 59.260,90) versteigert wurde.
