Upper estimate price exceeded by 44 %.
The work Zen by Lui Shou-Kwan was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March last year. It achieved a price of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,603.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lui Shou-Kwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Victoria Harbour After Rain in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 415,048.60).
