Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Zen Abstract by Lui Shou-Kwan was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 403,200.00 (€ 48,749.81). Admittedly, works by Lui Shou-Kwan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Victoria Harbour After Rain in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 415,048.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Zen Abstract von Lui Shou-Kwan wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 403.200,00 (€ 48.749,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lui Shou-Kwan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Victoria Harbour After Rain im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 415.048,60).
