Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dancer by Lui Liu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May last year. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,479.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lui Liu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Public Vs. Republic in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,840,000.00 (€ 450,151.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dancer von Lui Liu kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.479,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lui Liu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Public Vs. Republic im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.840.000,00 (€ 450.151,41).
