In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Dutch Vessels Off A Coastline On A Breezy Day by Ludolf Bakhuizen. The result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 71,292.98) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludolf Bakhuizen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A States Yacht and other ships on the sea in stormy weather in July last year with an auction result of GBP 730,800.00 (€ 872,705.00).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Vessels Off A Coastline On A Breezy Day von Ludolf Bakhuizen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 71.292,98) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ludolf Bakhuizen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A States Yacht and other ships on the sea in stormy weather im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 730.800,00 (€ 872.705,00).
