In February 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Erotic Online, which included the work Septieme Symphonie by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,462.59), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Montagneux in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,956,000.00 (€ 1,637,094.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Erotic Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Septieme Symphonie von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 43.462,59) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Montagneux im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.956.000,00 (€ 1.637.094,07).
