In October last year Christies in New York held the auction The Ann & Gordon Getty Collection: Volume 2 |Old Master, 19th and 20th Century Paintings, Day Sale, which included the work Femme Nue, Effet Rose by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 48,198.11), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Montagneux in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,956,000.00 (€ 1,637,094.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Ann & Gordon Getty Collection: Volume 2 |Old Master, 19th and 20th Century Paintings, Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme Nue, Effet Rose von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 48.198,11) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Montagneux im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.956.000,00 (€ 1.637.094,07).
