Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Sothebys in London held the auction European and British Art, Part II, which included the work Léon Bourgeois by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,717.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage Montagneux in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,956,000.00 (€ 1,637,094.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European and British Art, Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Léon Bourgeois von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.717,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Lévy-Dhurmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage Montagneux im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.956.000,00 (€ 1.637.094,07).
