Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Villegiature - 1973 by Lucien Coutaud was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in October 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Coutaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plage De L'Eroticomagie - 1954 in March 2020 with an auction result of EUR 14,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Villegiature - 1973 von Lucien Coutaud wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.040,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Coutaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plage De L'Eroticomagie - 1954 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.300,00.
