Sold at the upper estimate price
In March 2012 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Composition Surrealiste - 1929 by Lucien Coutaud. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,800.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Lucien Coutaud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plage De L'Eroticomagie - 1954 in March 2020 with an auction result of EUR 14,300.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Surrealiste - 1929 von Lucien Coutaud zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.800,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucien Coutaud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plage De L'Eroticomagie - 1954 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.300,00.
