Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 45 ans de Collection-Passion “From Matisse to Damien Hirst, works on paper”, which included the work 2 Oeuvres Sur Papier, Gouache, Aquarelle, Encre by Lucien Coutaud. The price achieved of EUR 446.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucien Coutaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plage De L'Eroticomagie - 1954 in March 2020 with an auction result of EUR 14,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 45 ans de Collection-Passion “From Matisse to Damien Hirst, works on paper” durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2 Oeuvres Sur Papier, Gouache, Aquarelle, Encre von Lucien Coutaud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 446,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucien Coutaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plage De L'Eroticomagie - 1954 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.300,00.
